A vegan Easter Tree fun for kids to gather and paint in 3 ways!
Kids have fun making this Vegan Easter tree! This spring craft is awesome because number one it gets them outside - CHECK! Number two, they have fun running around gathering supplies - CHECK! Here are three ways to create a Vegan Easter tree (of course there is always the traditional egg way as well😜). If you are also looking for a super yummy spring dessert click the link for my recipe; Easy GF Vegan Carrot Cupcakes Your Kiddos will Love.
It's a nature inspired Ostereierbaum; a German Easter tradition my mother in law got me into where you decorate trees or shrubs with Easter eggs. If you start early enough they will begin to bud by Easter. Let's get crafting!
#1 Pine Cone Decorations
Supplies Needed
- Branches or shrubs (like pussy willows or cherry blossoms make awesome Easter trees).
- Pine Cones
- Pitcher or Vase
- Twine
- Acrylic Paint
Let's Craft
1. Arrange branches in vase or pitcher. Fill with water.
2. Paint pine cones and set to dry.
4. Arrange on branches and Voila!
#2 Painted Wooden Ornaments
Supplies Needed
- Wooden Ornaments
- Acrylic Paint
- Glue gun
- Clear Nylon sewing thread or white.
Let's Craft
1. Paint wooden ornaments.
2. Glue gun thread for hanging.
Let's Craft
1. Glue gun craft pom pom's onto branches.
Have fun watching your branches bud! I think it makes your Easter tree look super festive. Happy Easter!
