I am always on the hunt for an eyeliner with lasting lines. I am so tired of wasting money on an eyeliner that vows to be ‘waterproof’ and last 12 hours only to test it out and discover its like the same old crappy eyeliner I bought a couple months ago. Not only is it expensive but all this plastic makeup is so wasteful.
So, today I went into Lush (yes, I love Lush)! I know some people can’t stand the smells and have issues with some of the ingredients they use but I love it. As you know from my other posts I have an obsession with pretty soaps but I also really appreciate a company with Vegan products who try to be sustainable and give back to communities. Anyway, I was very excited to discover this Lush Independent Eyeliner! If you are looking for a rich black, matte eyeliner that lasts all day you gotta give this one a try.
So does this eyeliner really have lasting lines?
Yes, it really does! I love to exercise, especially run and use eye creams (NOT a good combo with eyeliner). I was totally shocked when I got home from my run to find my eyeliner hadn’t budged. In fact, it stayed put all day! I also like to ‘tight line’ my eyeliner, putting it along my inside lash line. Other liners will disappear after a couple of hours but it was amazing to still see the lines had lasted to the end of the day! I also drew a line on the back of my hand when I was testing this eyeliner at the store. After washing my hands all day, doing dishes and other mom chores you could still see where I tested the eyeliner! Amazing right?!

Don’t worry about buying a fancy eyeliner brush to use with this eyeliner, just use the disposable one they offer at Lush and wash it after each use. It works perfectly! Let me know if this eyeliner is your jam or maybe you know of a better one? Leave a comment below.
